Taxis

Taxis are easy to get hold of in central Vienna, at one of the city's taxi stands or outside hotels or train stations. Unlike in most other cities however, taxis can't be flagged down on the streets. When ordering a taxi by phone, a surcharge is added to the fare.

Beware of taxi drivers who won't put on their taximeters; never accept a set fare unless you know for sure that it's a fair price.

Taxis come in all colours, and are simply recognized by their roof signs.

General taxi fares in Vienna

The taximeter starts at €2.50, with a kilometer price of €1.20, with slightly higher prices after 11pm. A surcharge of €1 is added for extra baggage. Tipping is expected, but rounding up to the nearest euro is often enough.

Applications for invitation letters from the Forever Germany/Austria office are dealt with at the main Forever office in each country, they should not be applied for individually.

CHILDREN AT THE RALLY

It is not recommended that children accompany distributors to the rally as the environment and noise levels are not appropriate. However, any children who do come into the rally venue will require their own ticket.  Companions to qualifying single distributors must be 18 or older.
